Elise Bacon:
Elise Bacon has always relished movement. Dance has been a part of her life from the beginning, a has an early
pursuit of gymnastics. As a college dance major, her intuitive, kinetic, and technical skills were honed. The Swedish Institute of Massage provided the anatomy and pathology vital to the
instruction of Pilates. Continuing the study of ballet with New Paltz School of Ballet and performing with the Ulster Ballet has proven to be an emotional and physical outlet. Dancing is also instructive as to the
continuing stresses of demanding and precise physical activity on an aging body. Elise uses all of this to help guide her students to reach their potential in a safe and supported
environment. Married to Jim Bacon in 1990, they have five children: Oliver, Reminy, Amelia, Perigrin, and Griffin.
